It's time to draw some simple jeans!

The result will be this:
1. I begin by making a new layer, picking a grey-blue colour and draw the outlines with a 1 pixel hard pencil.
2. After that, I just fill the pants with the same colour. If I feel the jeans need some corrections in their shape, this is when I do it.
3. Now I choose the burn-tool with a 3 pixel hard brush, 15% exposure, and begin to shade the edges. As you can see, I've also indicated where I want folds and where the knees are.
4. Now it's time to shade more, so I just change the brush to one that's 1 pixel and continue to shade the folds. I do also add some details as pockets and fly. Don't forget the wrinkles at the crotch.
5. I continue shading with the same exposure, I'm just altering between the 3 pixel sized brush and the brush sized 1 pixel. Enough shading!
6. Now it's time to add those typical lighter areas on jeans, so I pick the dodge-tool and a small brush (3 pixels) and set the exposure to 10%. I begin highlighting the thighs.
8. Then I zoom in really close, makes a new layer and choose either a grey or golden colour and a pencil (1 pixel) to draw the small details and button. I shade and highlight the button as shown just by picking a darker/lighter colour.
7. I continue using the dodge-tool with the same exposure but with the 1 pixel sized brush. I'm now highlighting the knees, a little more on the thighs, edges of the pockets and some of the wrinkles (just a little).
9. Done! Sometimes I add some noise, too, but not today :)
